Introduction:
X-ray microanalysis can be used to study both geological and biological specimens. My research project consisted of studying the radula of the marine invertebrats (Littorina littorea, Littorina rectius, and the jaws of Nereis. The objective was to localize the incorporation of metals into the radula and jaw of these organisms.
