You will produce documents explaining the problems you find with the client website, making suggestions for improvements where appropriate. (The target audience for these documents is the webmaster of the client website.) These documents will be stored in a website you'll create on warp as Groupwork Part 2.
In addition to your audit work, each group member will select one webpage from the client website and implement an alternative webpage which implements the same functionality as the original while satisfying all the accessibility and usability criteria of the group's audit.
Throughout this service learing project, you will record your personal notes on the meetings of your group in your blog.
Your service learning project will culminate in a presentation of your work to the client webmasters on Tuesday, May 8. (That's Groupwork Part 3.)
The first segment of your service learning project consists of the work you've done for Homework 9, Homework 10, Homework 11, and Homework 12. (There were some other aspects of those assignments—e.g., the Michalko review page and general usability entries in your blog that will be graded separately.)
Your grade for this part of the groupwork is based on 75 points, distributed as indicated in the following table.
