Refugee Interviews
Immigrants and Refugees in the US, Spring 2009 Refugee Interview Project Project Overview: This website is the result of a Government 202 course, Immigrants and Refugees in the U.S. The intent of the course was to explore issues pertinent to the resettlement of refugees today and, to a lesser extent, those of immigrants to the U.S. The course begins a pilot project to produce a series of podcasts along with exploring policy options for the treatment of refugee resettlement in the U.S. Students in the course were to acquire a basic knowledge of refugee issues locally, nationally, and internationally, explore one particular policy that affects refugees, and interview someone in the field of refugee resettlement to produce a podcast. These interviews are a result of their efforts.
