Senior Projects


The senior project in theatre and dance is the culmination of student scholarship in the Department, bringing together research, production and performance skills. Students may act or dance in, choreograph or direct, design, or write their projects. Theatre students must also produce a substantive scholarly paper.

 

Recent senior projects have included:

· Performances in Talking With, Spell #7, Constantinople Smith, A Slight Ache.

· Direction of It Is It Is Not.

· Writing and performing the original works Immuvorium and Bliss.

· Set design for a main stage production of Orestes.

· Choreography and performances of original works. Spring 2001 projects included:

Riddle: a series of vignettes representing stages in human life.
Atrophy: addressing the stages of coping with a life-threatening disease.
