Registration is required for both presenters and non-presenters.
Because space is limited, early registration is recommended.
Registration Fee
Registration fees are required for all participants (except for
presenters). The fees will be used to cover meals (including
breakfasts, lunches, dinners, a banquet, and refreshments) and to
help offset the expenses of the conference and workshops. You may
choose to participate in the conference, workshops, or both. Most
previous participants, however, found that it beneficial to attend
both the conference and workshops (see the description of conference
and workshops):
- Conference only: $100 (All day of May 28 and morning of May
29)
- Workshops only: $100 (Afternoon of May 29 and morning of May
30)
- Both Conference and Workshops: $150 (May 28-30)
Commitment Fee
A $50 Commitment Fee is required for presenters. This Commitment
Fee will be used (1) to secure the presenter's space in the
conference and the workshops and (2) to offset the cost of the
conference and workshops as indicated above plus publishing
Conference Proceedings.
Fees Submission
To ensure your registration, your payment (check or money order)
must be received by May 1, 2004. After the deadline, your
registration will be subject to space availability. Please make your

- Subsidization
For participants who present papers (demonstrations), the
conference will provide
- (1) up to $300 for airplane tickets (East coast, $100;
West coast, $200; Overseas, $300)
- (2) up to $100 for lodging
- (3) registration fee for the conference and workshops
- (4) all meals during the conference

For participants who do not present papers (demonstrations), the
conference will provide all meals during the conference.
All participants shall reserve and pay for their own lodging

- Conference
Proceedings
-
- TCLT3 will publish its proceedings with
papers and presentations delivered and presented. The papers for
the proceedings should be 3 to 8 pages in length, double spaced,
with a margin of 1'' on all edges (top, bottom, left, and right).
Use Times 12 to type your paper and save your paper in Word.rtf
format (Rich Text Format). For the Chinese characters used in your
paper, use GB coding in simplifed form (without GB, use unicode).
Please note that in order to make the proceedings available for
the conference, the deadline for submitting your paper has been
changed. Please send your paper to Prof. De Bao
Xu and Dr. Ni
