*Write: Mini-paper (2-3 pages; to be inspired by the film "The Interrogation"). This assignment is meant to stimulate your imagination and develop your skills in building a coherent argument. You play the role of a State prosecutor. You must present an analysis of a document of so-called children’s tales that has been confiscated from a writer, who is suspected of subversion against the State. You are convinced the tales are politically subversive and advocate the downfall of the government of the United States (or whatever nation you chose to represent). Analyze and scrutinize them carefully for details to build your case. Search for hidden allusions and meanings, some of which are no doubt subtle! Prove that the author is guilty of sedition and treason. BE SPECIFIC in your accusations. (E-mail to me, or hard copy to my office by 4 PM this day.)
