Focus on the artistic renaissance of the great urban centers of Central and Eastern Europe at a time of social upheaval and political decline,1890-1917. Particular attention paid to cross-cultural artistic interaction. The course work incorporates use of English, German and Russian language WWW sources. Conducted entirely in English, but optional discussion groups in original language offered.
