The Theatre and Dance Department prepares concentrators for a variety of opportunities in the performing arts and other fields.

 

Alumni have gone on to graduate programs at Yale School of Drama, The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, the American Repertory Theatre of Harvard, Arizona State University, Carnegie-Mellon University, New York University and UCLA. Graduates have worked at such prestigious venues as the Williamstown Theatre Festival, O'Neill Center, Glimmerglass Opera, Asolo Theatre, Metropolitan Opera, Houston Opera, Mark Morris Dance Company, Symphony Space, George Street Playhouse, Circle Repertory, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Playmakers Theatre, McCarter Playhouse at Princeton, and many regional theatres, off-broadway and Broadway theatres, television and films.

 

Graduates also hold a variety of jobs in and out of the performing arts. Examples of current and past positions include:
