Stephanie Wong, Psychology major/Anthropology minor, Class of 2010
Stephanie Wong is a senior Psychology major at Hamilton College. She is currently working on her Psychology thesis, Effects of Message Framing in Entertainment Media on Environmental Attitudes and Behavioral Intentions. In 2008, Stephanie was inducted into Psi Chi, the national Psychology honors society. Her interests are primarily in how to use technology to communicate more effectively, focusing on issues of social justice. She has previously interned with various non-profits that share her desire to use technology to increase visibility. Most recently, she worked with the Harmony Institute in New York, New York, researching behavioral science and its applicability to mass media. During the academic year, she interns with Informational Technology Services at Hamilton College. After earning her BA, she plans to find a job with a non-profit using technology for social justice before attending graduate school for media studies.
