All travel expenses will be reimbursed, courtesy of the NITLE program through the Middlebury Center for Educational Technology (CET). An expense voucher will be provided in the conference materials, to be submitted to the Conference Coordinators through Hamilton College. Getting to Hamilton CollegeHamilton is located one and one-half miles from Clinton and nine miles southwest of Utica, New York. DrivingFrom east or west of Utica: Those arriving by car from the New York City area, New England or points west of Utica can best reach the College via the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90). From the New York State Thruway (1-90), take Exit 32 (Westmoreland). After exit, make a right at stop light, then turn left onto Route 233 south. Drive 6.2 miles, passing through two traffic lights until reaching a flashing red light at the intersection of Route 233 and College Hill Road. Turn right at this intersection, and drive up the hill for 0.4 miles. Directions to Ferguson House: Once you are on College Hill Road, midway you will come to a sign on the right that reads Campus Road, you will make a right. Once on Campus Road you will follow the signs for the “Music and Technology Conference”. From Eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey or other points south: Follow Interstate 81 through Binghamton, New York, to New York State Route 12, exit 6 off I-81. Follow Route 12 north for approximately 50 miles through the village of Sherburne and turn left onto Route 12-B. Follow Route 12-B north approximately 35 miles. About 3 miles north of the village of Deansboro, turn left onto State Route 233 to the flashing red light at the intersection with College Hill Road. Turn left at the intersection and drive up the hill for 0.4 miles. Directions to Ferguson House: Once you are on College Hill Road, midway you will come to a sign on the right that reads Campus Road, you will make a right. Once on Campus Road you will follow the signs for the “Music and Technology Conference”. AirlinesYou can fly into either Albany or Syracuse Airports. You can opt to take a connecting flight to Oneida County Airport, located in Oriskany, about twenty minutes from the campus. Connective transportation to the College is available by taxi or limousine service. Limousine service is available from the Syracuse, Albany and Oneida Airports at a cost of about $40 to $50 one-way. Arrangements must be made in advance for either taxi or limousine services. Finally, of course, you could always rent a car.
