See complete details on the DHi Calendar!- Development of a digital humanities initiative, and ultimately physical facility, that promotes an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity, and scholarly investigation. A key component of this initiative is to develop creative approaches and applications of technology to further digital scholarship and integrate media literacy in teaching and learning across disciplines.
- Faculty development programs of invited speakers and hands-on workshops
- Grant writing in collaboration with Hamilton's grants office to provide research opportunities for faculty and students
- Grant writing in collaboration with Hamilton's grants office to develop humanities initiatives - cyberinfrastructure, technology applications, and facilities.
- Collaboration across campuses to promote scholarship and technology efficiencies.
- Research of technological tools to further digital scholarship, especially those that access, integrate, and manipulate rich media (images, audio, video).
- Collaboration with other members of ITS, the library, and other academic support units to advance development of technological tools for teaching, research, and scholarship in the humanities.
- Leadership, strategic planning, development, implementation, and sustainability of technology for digital scholarship.
- Project management of specific technologies piloted for digital humanities initiatives. Collaboration and integration of technology resources developed for digital humanities across the curriculum.
