Globalization and Film Studies
This is my section of a course on Globalization which will be taught by
several collegues from various disciplines. We will all use an anthology
of readings that presents the debates surrounding globalization. Then
each of us will work with our students to apply the concepts and issues
of globalization to our own area of expertise. My section will focus on
the question of Hollywood’s influence on the development of a national
cinema in Germany and Iran.
