Applying to the Biology Program
Application for admission to Biology study should be filled, along with all supporting documents at Hamilton College's Admission Office.
The primary criteria for admission are academic achievement and intellectual potential, but Hamilton also values leadership and commitment to extracurricular and community activities. In forming the class, the admission staff seeks students representing diverse geographic, economic, and ethnic backgrounds whose perspectives will enrich the learning community. Lastly, Hamilton seeks to admit candidates who are a good fit with the programs and experience the College offers.

Program Requirements
In addition to the above general admission requirements, students would normally have to meet the following program requirements:
1. A diploma from an accredited high school
2. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0
3. For those without a diploma degree in Biology, chemistry, or a related field, at least ** credits in appropriately related courses.
