ARTIST STATEMENT
This work is a reflection on the mundane. They are drawn from my almost shameful fascination with unappealing aspects of everyday life - listlessness, uncertainty. Littered with fragments of thoughts, memories, and misaligned references, the process of construction is presented throughout the work, offering the joy of discovery and absurdity underlying monuments to the ordinary.
This work has been made possible by the generous support of the Smallen Creativity Fund.
