Holly grew up in Moultrie, Georgia where she attended Colquitt County High School. She now attends Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Her primary philosophical interests are in phenomenology, ancient Greek philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysics. She has also been a musician for most of her life and enjoys playing and teaching drums.

Pakiz is a native from Indian state of Assam and is lot influenced by the tribal culture of his motherland. Besides Philosophy, he has a keen interest in sociology in which he has a minor. His area of fascination is Political Philosophy and Indian Philosophy.

Ellie is a rising senior at Emory University, where she is studying Philosophy and Economics. She spent this past spring in Shanghai, learning Chinese and interning with a local lifestyle magazine, and she hopes to pursue her doctorate after graduation. Beyond philosophy, her interests include visual art, folk rock, casual psychoanalysis of friends and family, and specialty coffee. She credits both her love of philosophy and sense of cosmic wonder to her parents, both teachers, and to her hometown, nestled in Virginia’s Blue Ridge mountains.

Pinarnaz was born in Canakkale, where the Ancient City of Troy was, and lives in Istanbul. She is a western languages & literatures and philosophy double major. She likes writing short stories, swimming, and listening to jazz. She usually cycles or wanders around Istanbul on weekends. She is curious about everything especially herself.

Miquon Jackson was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. He originally attended SUNY Fredonia as a BFA Acting major with a minor in Philosophy. However, during his junior year, he decided to transfer to Syracuse University to study Philosophy exclusively. He is currently interested in a Philosophy of Mathematics, the Philosophy of Democracy, and the Philosophy of Language. He has vested interest in Mock Trial, creative writing workshops, unique board games, outdoor activities, and loves trying out new and adventurous things.

Wriley grew up in Cooperstown, New York. He is interested in politics and hopes to one day serve in public office. Wriley enjoys reading presidential biographies, exercise, and arguing with people.

Riley is from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. In addition to philosophy, she studies education and art. She is on the ultimate frisbee team and enjoys volleyball, yoga and scrabble.

Isabella is from New York. In addition to philosophy, she is also studying finance and hopes to attend law school. At Boston College she is Vice President of the Philosophical Society and plays on the Club Ultimate Frisbee team. This summer she is walking the Camino de Santiago with a philosophy class at BC.

I am a rising Sophomore at Hamilton college. I am thinking on majoring in Economics with a double minor in Hispanic Studies and Philosophy (although that is very prone to change). I am a Cuban immigrant, and I currently live in South Florida. I am the co-captain of the fencing team at Hamilton. I enjoy being out in nature, hanging out with friends, reading Latinx literature, and I enjoy philosophizing about ethics and epistemology.

I study philosophy and Spanish at the University of Northern Colorado. My favorite areas of philosophy are metaphysics and continental philosophy. I have studied abroad in Argentina and I love meeting new people. In my free time I am probably either playing chess, reading/writing in a café or playing disc golf.

Steve is a Singaporean who just graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics. He is most interested in political philosophy, and aspires to "bring philosophy back to the streets". As an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls, Steve is patiently waiting for his team's resurgence in the coming years. In September this year, Steve will begin coursework for his Master's degree (interdisciplinary China Studies with a concentration in Philosophy and Religion) in Peking University as an Yenching Scholar.

While generally interested in most anything, he has particular interest in normative ethics, intellectual history, political issues, religion, and literature. In his free time, he likes to read, ski, bicycle, and scuba dive when he gets the chance.

Kezia Mensah Nyarkpoh

My name is Kezia Mensah Nyarkpoh. A student of the University of Ghana, Legion, I reside at Maamobi in the capital of Ghana, Accra. I attended St. Francis Xavier and St. Roses Senior High School for both my basic and secondary education respectively. For my hobbies, I do a lot of reading, listen to cool sound music and inspiring holy spirit-filled messages. I delight in these extra curricula activities which I am about to mention and I participate in them wholeheartedly. I play goal ball for my hall of residence on campus and have won medals for it, I lead seminar group discussion, and mentoring.

Shihan Zhu

My full name is Yingshihan Zhu, but I go by Shihan because Ying is my mom's family name. I was born in Zhejiang, China, raised in Beijing, China before attended Boston University in the U.S.. I am really interested in feminist philosophy. When I am not doing philosophy, I’m playing racquetball, painting, (clumsily) dancing, and repetitively watching Dead Poets Society and Ang Lee's movies.

Matthew Sullivan

St. Norbert College

Matthew recently received his bachelor's degree in philosophy from St. Norbert College. He is interested in metaphilosophy and moral genealogy, and is passionate about Holocaust education.

Zheyuan Li

Boston College

Zheyuan has lived in Shanghai. In addition to philosophy, he majors in mathematics but has interests in poetry, physics, and linguistics. He enjoys stargazing, listening to music, and photography at leisure.
